Technical Description

All tools which have been previously fixed on a girder, such as e.g. hoes, ridgers, sowing machines, can be mounted on UNIVECUS by means of a quick acting closure. These tools can be moved via a hand lever hydraulic system and guided along the rows in the cultivated area via a foot pedal steering. The carter sitting in the back has an excellent view of the appliance in front of him, as well as of the tools attached under the axle, the rows to be worked on and the draught animals. In this way, the whole work can be carried out by a single person. UNIVECUS is equipped with a combined steering mechanism facilitating two work processes at the same time: on the one hand to control the wheels via an axle steering and on the other hand to move the tools which have been fixed. Thanks to the wheel steering you may steer the complete appliance along the rows in the cultivated area without drifting off even in case of sloping ground. The tool holding fixture facilitates immediate and exact functioning of the tools.   By this drawgear the main power is directed towards the tools. The traction slide facilitates easy manoeuvrability. The tool holding fixture mounted corresponds to Fendt GT 231. There are other tool holding fixtures available.
Wheel gauge can be adjusted from 125 to 175 cm. Other gauges on request. Double-acting cylinder working with traction or pressure. There are various mounting arrangements in the rear of the appliance.
Foot pedal to activate steering and all other functional components. Seat and brake clip can be shifted on the basic frame.

UNIVECUS is mainly used in cultivated areas arranged in rows where there is a need for low running speed. Additionally, UNIVECUS does not need high tractive forces. It is used in areas where soil settlement should be avoided, like e.g. in case of continual hoeing.

In order to extend the field of application of UNIVECUS we are developing further components, such as:

  • Support wheel unit for particularly heavy tools
  • add-on unit for special tools for work in the early spring
  • driving axle with servo-motor to use the appliance without animals at extremely low driving speed for setting plants and controlling weeds thermally
UNIVECUS is an investment in the future due to a large variety of combination and extension possibilities.
